The Boathouse

The name is fitting to the character and history of this 500 year building, at lunch sit in comfort enjoying the rowing boats on the river. Indulge in quality service and excellent bar and grill food and premium drinks. Situated on the river bank of the Wear with panoramic views of medieval Elvet Bridge and the traditional City of Durham, this pub is best described as a relaxed environment by day, set in a comfortable lounge and lively in the evening with a mix of people and music for all tastes.
